Dorothy Coons Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Coons of Payette, Idaho, born in Vermillion, Kansas, who passed away on August 19, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Stowell and Sylvia Stowell; her husband Dick Coons; her daughter Cheryl Williams; and her siblings, Claude, Vivian Peterson and LaVerne Booth.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Jones, Melodie Schreiber (Michael) and Jim Coons (Debbie); her son-in-law Ralph Williams; her grandchildren, Jeff Ball (Tana), Greg Ball (Cathy), Matthew Swanson, Nichole Lambertsen, Taylor Maloy (Carlos), Courtney Schreiber and Austin Coons (Whitney); and her siblings, Marilyn Sanders and Dean Stowell. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 concerns the family firmly requests anyone attending the viewing or service to wear a mask and follow the social distancing guidelines.
