He is survived by: his spouse Carmen Diaz; his son Michael David Alverson; his sister Tammi Dayley of Blackfoot; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Dayley of Blackfoot and Julie Norton Alverson Mottishaw of Pocatello. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
