He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther May and Moses Allen Barney; his siblings, Charles, Robert Carl, Dell Barney, Reed, Don, Wayne, Vera Yatsak and Ruth Orr; his former wife Karen Haack; and his son Brek Thornton.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Larson; his children, Blake Thornton, Bart Barney (Shaun) and Samee Beck (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Amanda Thornton, Kyle Thornton, Josh Thornton, Zachary Thornton, Isabelle Thornton, Olivia Thornton, Jaiten Beck, Ryker Beck and Zerik Beck; his great grandchild Mara; and his sisters, Letha Dawson and June Gould. He is also survived by 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and a great-grandson.
