He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edith May Stewart and Jeston V. Shurtliff; his wife Joan; his children, Jerry Shurtliff (Shanna), Carrie Shurtliff (Kim), Lori Hairston (Al), Jonathan Shurtliff (Jennifer) and William Shurtliff (Kim); and his siblings, Lenna Joy Ells, Edith Mae Wilde, Keith Shurtliff, Erla Mae Warner and Mary Jean Duncan. He was also cherished by 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Primary Children's Hospital.
