He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Della Leona Aller; his wife Madonna Barbre Mikesell; his children, Kory Vargason (Emil), Darren Mikesell (Felicia) and Lori Armstrong (Gary); his grandchildren, Amy Armstrong, Jamie Armstrong, Hylee Mikesell, Callie Amos-Christie (Jacob), Emil Vargason, Neil Vargason and Dustin Mikesell (Blake); his sister Erma Wade (Bill); his parent George Mikesell; his sisters, Jo Weller and Wilma Oler; and his siblings-in-law, David Weller, Don Oler, Bill Wade and DeAnna Arthur. He was also cherished by numerous brother and sister-in-laws as well as nieces and nephews.
