She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Nielson and Wanda Nielson (Taylor); her husbands, Frank Mann and Melvin Brown; her siblings, Scott Nielson and Sharlene Spurlock; her son DeVearl Stowell; her granddaughter Shantay Sparrow; her great grandchildren, Darcee A Sparrow and Brandy Lynn Possin; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Spurlock and Elmer Oliverson.

She is survived by: her former husbands, Gerald Sparrow, Ron Stowell and Mel Brown; her husband Dave Hansen; her children, Ken Sparrow (Tammy), Rod Sparrow (Susan), Brad Sparrow (Kathy), Jeraldine Sparrow, Matt Mann (Patti), Barbara Ryan, Sharlene Hillyard (Mike) and Vicki Petzold; her siblings, Noel Nielson (Angela), Loenza Oliverson and Lynda Todd (Larry); and her sister-in-law Faith Nielson. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren; many foster children and their kids, as well as many nieces and nephews.
