He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Bringhurst (Christensen) and Gilbert Bringhurst of Tyhee; his brothers, Larry and Gene; his nieces, Wendy and Cindy; and his siblings-in-law, Grace, Pat, Nancy and Wayne.

He is survived by: his siblings, Buffalo Stampede, Lee, Monte, Jon, Mike Bringhurst, Joanne Madsen (Edward), Marie Sabey, Sue Christensen (Randy) and Lynn Dye (David). He is also survived by ten children.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Idaho Food.
