She was predeceased by: her husband John Robert "Pete" Burgoon; her son John Robert Peter Burgoon Jr; her parents, Calvary Ross and Ethel Ross (Adkins); and her brothers, Emmett, Thomas, Harry, James, Calvary Jr. and Taylor.

She is survived by: her children, Charles (Bonnie), Kelly Burgoon and Debbie Burgoon; her daughter-in-law Terry Parsons; and her grandchildren, Jarrott, Zachary, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Jessica, Rebecca, Jenna, April and James.
