He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Mildred Hogue Rickard. He is survived by: his wife Karen; and his daughters, Dayna Teutsch (Howard) of Eagle and Amber Rickard-Farrington (Chris) of Columbus, Ohio. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
