With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grant Leroy Powell (Post Falls, Idaho), who passed away on July 13, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kaziah Beatrice Stevens Powell and Barney Grant Powell; his stepmothers, Pearl Della Locks Powell and Sarah Melba Parkinson Powell; and his half-siblings, Clifford Dwight Powell, Blaine Powell and Bessie Lu Powell.
He is survived by: his half-brothers, Byron Powell of Spokane and Stanford Powell of Bountiful, Utah.; his wife Beverly Powell; his children, Kevin Powell (Sandy) of Orem, UT, Karin Bigney (Keith) of Rancho Cordova, CA, Mark Powell of Austin, TX, Lisa Powell of Newman Lake, WA and Camille Blackmore of Spokane Valley, WA.; his grandchildren, Chelsea Castaldo (Tyler), Julie Powell, Cody Powell, Morgan Biggs, Jesse Powell, Brandon Bigney, Paul Powell, Courtney Bigney, Lindsay Powell, Clayton Bigney, Jalen Bigney, Luke Blackmore, Mia Blackmore and Aaron Blackmore; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Castaldo and Irelynn Anne Powell.
The family will have a private graveside service due to COVID-19 restrictions.
