He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wallace Mitchell Jr. and Geneva Naomi Cliff; his sister-in-law Sherry Mitchell; and his great grandchild Margaret Eve Swensen. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Rolfson Mitchell; his children, Emily Mitchell, Kara Swensen (Scott), Mark Mitchell (Sara), Laurie Gilbert (Jeff), Erin Grush (Brian), Anna Speegle (Justin), Kristen Francom (Michael) and Sarah McCleery (Trevor); and his siblings, Larry Mitchell, Kenneth Mitchell and Lynae Frates. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cove LDS Chapel (12832 N 1200 E, Cove, UT 84320). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cove Ward Chapel (12832 N 1200 E, Cove, UT 84320).
