He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wayne Thompson and Claudia Thorley Thompson; his wife Elsie Olsen Thompson; his children, Steve Thompson (Preston) and Connie Eck (Doug) of Idaho Falls; his stepchildren, Lisa Rankin (Michael) of Idaho Falls, Laura Nuenke of Idaho Falls, Sarah Davis (Brad) of Preston, Samuel Rail of Ohio and Jonothan Rail (Krista) of Taylorsville; his siblings, Don Thompson (Sylvia) of Minersville and LaRue Thompson (Spencer); his son Scott Thompson; and his great grandchild Cole Eck. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews as well as friends.
