It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Armstrong of Rupert, Idaho, born in Gooding, Idaho, who passed away on August 2, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Forrest Armstrong and Margaret Armstrong (Reynolds); his wife Katie Giles; his sisters, Janet and Midge; his stepchildren, Willy Armstrong and Teresa Gonzales; and his grandson Lyjah Armstrong.

He is survived by : his former life partner Jeanette Allen; his children, Dawn Elkington (Don) of Greenfield, IN, Karen Adkins of Foristell, MO and Forrest Armstrong of Boise, ID; his stepchildren, Nancy Borchardt (Mike) of Star, ID, Rob Giles (Bonnie) of Wenatchee, WA and Rick Giles (Janelle) of Sunnyvale, CA; his stepson-in-law Alex Gonzales of Rupert, ID; and his grandchildren, Kevin Fausett, Sharice Adkins, Carrie Adkins, Monica Adkins, Astraiah Armstrong, Alayjah Armstrong, Shannon Gonzales, Damon Gonzales, Matthew Borchardt (Lacey), Amanda Metzger (Dustin), Ana Giles, Sophia Giles and Benjamin Giles (Bree). He is also survived by 7 Great-Grandchildren.
