He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Philips and Ruth Philips; his siblings, Earl, Bill, Carol and Norma; his wife Pat Philips; and his grandchildren, Holly Heald and Charlie Heald.
He is survived by : his former life partner Patricia Rae Somers; and his children, Kathy Heald (Mark), Donald (Susanne), Robert, Edwin (Tennille) and David (Melissa). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren as well as 33 great-grandchildren.
