It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James William Evans Jr. of Salmon, Idaho, born in Dunsmuir, California, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James W. Evans Sr. and Suzanne Lavely Evans. He is survived by : his wife Lynda Evans; his children, James W. Evans III (Angel) of Salmon and Barbara Ann Flair; his sisters, Janet Henmen of Chico, Madeline Carol Smith of Mount Shasta and Kathy Shuffett Taylor of Greensburg; and his grandchildren, Andy Evans of Salmon, Daniel Evans of Corydon, Hailey Flair of Bradner and Zach Evans of Evansville, Indiana. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and several other loving family members and friends.

Jim proudly served as the Executive Director of the Nez Perce Trail Foundation for many years.
