She was predeceased by : her son Larry Dockery; her parents, Hobert Dockery and Naomi Ellis Dockery; and her children, Jimmy Dockery and Ruth Dockery.

She is survived by : her children, Diane Turner, Eddie Turner, Carolyn Turner Chavez, Norman Turner (Laurie), Ruther Turner Veleta, Donald Dockery (Teresa), Ricky Turner and James Turner (Jimmy); her husband Miles Baird; and her sisters, Zelda and Doris. She is also survived by six children, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
