It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Welker of Soda Springs, Idaho, born in Murray, Utah, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Emmanuel Welker and Helen Briscoe Thomson; and his siblings, Virgil Warren Garner, Margaret Georgina Glover, Charlene Helen Skordas, Lloyd Ray Welker, Deloris Kay Larsen, Melba Ruth Welker and Myron Bob Welker.

He is survived by : his children, James Glen (Luana), Teresa Lee, Mark Edward (Jolene) and Judy Ann (Jeffery); his wife Karen S. Muir; and his brother Brent Rigby. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
