He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Reber Hopkins and Myrintha Tolman Hopkins; his siblings, Leora Peterson Hopkins Peck, Marva Hopkins Christman (Albert Christman), Esther Hopkins Loveless Stoddard, Phyllis Hopkins Giles, Fern Hopkins Nelsen and Clifford Tolman Hopkins; and his wife Barbara Fay Sizemore Hopkins.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Loyal Hopkins (late Rhoda), Terry Lee Hopkins (Nancy), Trudy Hemmert (Larry), Peggy Pugmire (late Alan) and Ranae Galloway (Kent). He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 114 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Paris Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the LDS Chapel (109 S Main St, Paris, ID 83261). A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Fairview Soda Springs Cemetery (148 S Main St, Soda Springs, ID 83276). They were blessed to be together during the sequestered years of Covid-19.
