She is survived by: her children, Eric Russell (Doris) of Firth, Connie Sheahan (Steve) of Hamilton, MT, Richard Russell (Sheri) of Goshen, Natalie Wells (Steve) of Shelley and John Russell (Chris) of Shelley; her siblings, Shirley, Dave, Robert, Eddy, Sibyl, Brig, Sabra and Debra; Jane Crapo. She is also survived by great mother to her children.

“We have love and respect for Betty and her family. You took such good care of your mother in her declining health. She was energetic, ambitious, devout in keeping the Lord's commandments. She served as Primary president and Relief Society president. Always loved to do her visiting teaching. She often told us about her children and grandchildren. Her love for gardening was evident by her beautiful yard but she also wanted to make it beautiful for others to enjoy. Great legacy.”
