He is survived by: his pets, Rocky and Chichi; his former wife Doreen Evelyn Simpson; his sons, Brian and Richard; his grandchildren, Catherine, Michael, Robyn, Lucas, Delara and Shadeh; his great grandchildren, Izzie, Evie and David; and his siblings-in-law, Katherine Ciesinski and Raymond Ciesinski.
He intended to stay a few weeks, then the Covid-19 pandemic struck, and he remained in the UK for six months until he could no longer stay away from his beloved dogs, Rocky and Chichi.
