She was predeceased by: her parents, Burl Trout and Alice Edwardson Trout; her husband Hugh; her sisters, Maxine Strottman, Carol Jean Ackerman and Betty Trout; and her grandson Kyle Scharnhorst.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Scharnhorst (Sam), Connie Osborn (Gary), Julie Spangler (Bruce) of Moscow and Janice Shortt (Patrick); her brother James B. (Butch); and her siblings-in-law, Vicki Trout and Loyd Ackerman. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Troy Lutheran Church, Troy Fire Department or Troy Ambulance Fund.
