She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman T. Shodene and Amelia C. Shodene. She is survived by: her significant other John Bannister; her former husband James O. Swan; and her children, Bradley D Swan (Jeanine), Margie R. Vail (Terry), Rebecca M. Sorbel (Dean) and James N. Swan (Jessica). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The family encourages that any memorial donations be made to the Troy Historical Society.
