She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carl and Elsie Marie Abbott (Baxter); her siblings, Lucille, Irene and Emery; her son-in-law Bob Plasters; and her stepgrandson Scott Glisan.
She is survived by: her spouse Joseph A. "Art" Batson; her children, Larry of Abingdon, Danny of Abingdon, Holly Plasters of Abingdon, Steve of Abingdon and Bonnie of Abingdon; her grandchildren, Penny, Ralston-Berg, Jeff, Kevin Batson, Danielle Hall, Tony, Cassandra Sullivan, Caleb Batson, Holly Mason, Karly Batson and Johnathon Mason; her great grandchildren, Mason Batson, Kylee Batson, Drake Hall, T. J. Batson and Charley Batson; her stepgrandchildren, Kena, Brad Glisan and Brian; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Madyson Glisan, Zach Glisan, Lindsay Erwin, Kacie Erwin, Tyres Glisan, Jordan Glisan and Rhett Glisan; and her grandchild Ashley Graves. She is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
