He was predeceased by : his parents, Manuel Ramirez and Refugio Ramirez (Frausto); and his daughter Kathleen "Kathy" Hampton. He is survived by : his spouse Mariann G. Shourek; his children, Elias Ramirez, Jr. (Carol) of Galesburg, Fred Ramirez (Sue) of Galesburg, Frank Ramirez (Sherry) of Jones, Oklahoma, Mae Rogers of Abingdon and Mariann Crouch of Knoxville; his son-in-law Richard Hampton of Abingdon; and his siblings, Jimmy Ramirez of Chicago and Esther Cobb of Las Vegas, Nevada.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
