With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lela Maude Skelton of Alorton, Illinois, who passed away on May 19, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Berl Jackson and Mini Jackson; her daughter Burlene Goetz; and her siblings, Gene, Louis, Thomas, Clarence, Martin, Woodrow "Micky", Willard Jackson, Jane Sheets, Ethel Materka and Arlene Clark.

She is survived by : her sons, Eugene and David Templeman; her granddaughters, Elaine Willingham and Erin Templeman; her great grandchildren, Cortnie Willingham, Mistie Hunter and Tyler Willingham; her great great grandchildren, Mearl, Ace and Hazel; and her sisters, Janel Crowe and Carol Cashion.
