She was predeceased by : her parents, James L. Wharton and Ethelyn C. Wharton (Leith); and her brother Robert Bushue. She is survived by : her husband Bill Laatsch of Altamont; her children, Tim Laatsch (Jane) of Altamont, Doug Laatsch (Christel) of Green Bay, WI, Joe Laatsch (Kim) of Altamont and Jill Thornton (Dustin) of Trilla; her siblings, Elwin Bushue (Marilyn) of DeKalb, Zetta Haag (Don) of Effingham, Judy Mayhaus (Bob) of Altamont and Marlene DeWeese (Edward) of Mason; her grandchildren, Will, Cori, Emma, Lily, Charlee Thornton and Calvin Bouas; and her great grandchild Leo Owen.
