He is survived by : his children, Aaron Arrowsmith of Effingham and Alexia Wright (David) of Altamont; his sisters, Glenda Poehler of Louisville and Myrna Hites (Daniel) of Edgewood; his siblings-in-law, Ruth Ann Miller of Altamont and Herb Tabbert of Effingham; his grandchildren, Kendall Miller and Kenya Mitchell; and his great grandchild Kensley Lingafelter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gieseking Funeral Home (208 N 2nd St, Altamont, IL 62411). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
