He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Joseph and Lillie Mae Gauntt; and his brother Marion Joseph Gauntt. He is survived by: his wife Barbara H. Gauntt; and his children, Christa Burns, Marcus Burns Sr., Celeste Gauntt (Frank Seeley), Benjamin (Claire Bean), Cathlene Gauntt (David Burns), Clifford David Gauntt (Haylea Hosna) and Jonathan Daniel Gauntt. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
