He was predeceased by: his parent Richard E.; and his sister Joyce Von Szilassy. He is survived by: his parent Stephanie Disher (Fania); his children, Richard J. Disher of Alton and Tiffany Disher of South Carolina; his son-in-law Matthew Schindel of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Jace Disher, Richard Disher, Zada Disher-Schindel and Levon Disher-Schindel; and his sisters, Angela McDonough (Randy) of California and Theresa Disher-Kettlehake of Alton.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Christmas Wonderland and Hartbauer/McBride Memorial Foundation.
