He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barnhart and Ruth Barnhart (Turner); his wife Joyce Barnhart (Vines); his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Edna Vines; his siblings, Patsy Etherton and William Barnhart; his sisters-in-law, Linda Vines and Virginia Adams; and his niece Candy Barnhart.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Barnhart and Tammy Barnhart; his sister Jenny Bridgeman; his grandsons, Zach Barnhart, Ryan Hansil and Jeremi Poe; his great grandchildren, Addilyn Barnhart, Riley Hennis, Jayci Poe and Kadence Poe; his sister-in-law Sarah Barnhart; and his sibling's children, Mike Barnhart, Dave Etherton, Chuck Barnhart (Belinda), Cindy Elledge (Shorty), Becky Fornear (Steve) and Jackie Etherton. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
