He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Taylor and Geneva Taylor (McCormick); his wife Sandra Taylor; his brother Ray Taylor; and his pet Lucy.

He is survived by : his sons, Ray Taylor (Emberre) of Carbondale and William B. Taylor of Elgin; his stepchildren, Michael and Tracy; his granddaughter Patricia (George Wright); and his stepchildren, William Jr., Willie, Daylynn, Draysun and Delayne. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
