He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Alsip and Naomi Alsip (Walker); and his brother-in-law Bill Hanzel. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Alsip; his children, Carolynn Alsip (Roger Newfarmer), Abi Alsip (Kim) of Anna, Lydia Alsip of Anna and Marshall Alsip (Christina); his grandchildren, Caley Evans (Brandon) of Metropolis, Ashley Martinez (Cody) of Sikeston, Dustin Wilda (Cassey) of Anna, Hunter Godwin of Anna, Parker Alsip of Anna and Greyson Anderson of Metropolis; and his sister Paula Hanzel of Anna. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Marion, Illinois.
