Rosemary Elizabeth Green touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred J. Jacob and Julie Marie Jacob (Clapp); her husbands, Maurice Green and Baird Boyer; her daughter Kathryn Reece; and her siblings, Andrew Jacob, Richard Jacob, Joseph Jacob and Alberta Jacob.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Green of Tuscola, IL, Doug Green of Hindsboro, IL, Daron Green of Arcola, IL, Ken Green (Lynn) of Camargo, IL and Marcy Green (Gil) of Seattle, WA; her stepsons, Steven Boyer (Irene) of Springfield, IL and Alan Boyer (Ellen) of Decatur, IL; her grandchildren, Sarah Reece Medina, Angie Thomas (Travis), Andy Green, Justin Green, Nicole Stewart (John), Tyler Boyer (Holly) and Kathleen "Katie" Mohler (Jonathan); and her siblings, Oscar Jacob (Susan) of Arcola, IL, Florence Banning (Ben) of Pana, IL, Dorothy Boyer (Richard) of Arcola, IL and Alice Jacob of Arcola, IL.. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
A rosary was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (221 E Main St, Arcola, IL 61910). Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (210 S Pine St, Arcola, IL 61910).
Memorials can be made to the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Arcola or Sarah Bush Lincoln Memorial Hospice.
