He was predeceased by : his parents, Lorenz "Skeez" Kleinschmidt and June Carls Kleinschmidt. He is survived by : his wife Joann Farmer; his daughters, Jamie Hobrock (Brad) of Beardstown, Julie Meyer (Matthew) of Arenzville and Jenny Foster (Jake) of Beardstown; his grandchildren, Harper, Palmer Hobrock, Carter, Connor, Ally Meyer, Ruth and Benjamin Foster; and his sister Karen Lovekamp (Jim) of Evans, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church and School.
