It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger E. Briggs of Argenta, Illinois, born in Weldon, Illinois, who passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Dewey and Lotus Briggs (Martin); and his sisters, Georgia Mills, Betty Abbott and Audra Gowler.

He is survived by : his wife Alice Briggs of Argenta, IL; his children, Annette Heller (John) of East Peoria, IL, Randall Briggs (Katy) of Monticello, IL, Greg Briggs (Vicki) of Cisco, IL and Scott Briggs (Tricia) of Atlanta, GA; and his sister Miriam Seevers (Stanley) of Argenta, IL.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
