He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian and Neil W. Benedict Jr.; and his siblings, Margaret Griesbaum (Al) and Laurance D. Benedict (Chris). He is survived by: his siblings, Melissa Allen (Terry), Bob Benedict (Marybeth), Bill Benedict (Sue), John Benedict (Donna), Marie Mical (Al), Ellen Snodgrass (Dave), Irene Lannoye (Jerry) and Katie Cullen (Bill); and his aunt Irene Pierson.
