She was predeceased by: her husband John Hoff; her sons, Michael and Richard; and her siblings, Mary Reilly (late John) and Fred Carr (late Lenore).
She is survived by: her children, Arvella, Desiree and Crystal; her grandchildren, Desiree, Crystal, Rosella and Zachary; her sibling's children, Sean, Mary Beth Reilly (Kelly), Bryant and Steven Carr; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaitlin, Patrick, Lizzy, Clare, Mary Kate, Bridget and Ellie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ascension Living Nazarethville Place (300 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Dorothy's honor can be made to Ascension Living Nazarethville Place.
