He was predeceased by: his father Louis Bierwirth. He is survived by: his mother Jacqueline Bierwirth; his daughter Megan Berg (Matt); his grandchildren, Emersen and Evelyn Berg; and his siblings, Larry Bierwirth (Joni) and Lori Hajas (Peter). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to either Suncrest Hospice, 5 Revere Drive, Northbrook, IL 60062 or to the staff of Waverly Inn, who had provided Lou with excellent care. Any donations for Waverly can be collected by Lou's daughter, Megan.
