With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Grom of Arlington Heights, Illinois, born in Mount Prospect, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2020 at the age of 102. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Grom to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Kastning and Emma Kastning; her husband Charles J. Grom; and her sisters, Mildred Wilke and Esther Koelling.

She is survived by : her children, Gary Grom (Barbara), John Grom (Mary) and Gayle Jacobson; her grandchildren, Shelley Kriby (Matthew), Bryan Grom, David Grom, Ericka Benassini (John), David Jacobson (Julie), Caitlin Micko (Doug), William Grom (Shelley) and Michael Grom (Jessie); and her great grandchildren, Jordan Kirby, Caroline Kirby, Jack Kirby, Luca Benassini, Mateo Benassini, Easton Jacobson, Colette Jacobson, Adelaide Micko, Bernadette Micko, Cora Micko, Josie Hoff and George Grom. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to COFA in care of St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 West Olive Street, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
