It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Muench D. (Arlington Heights, Illinois), born in Des Plaines, Illinois, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Muench and Bertha Muench; his former wife Florence Alexander of November; his wife Cecelia Mensch; his sons, Robert C. and Dean Muench; and his stepson-in-law Larry Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Knecht (Robert) and Gregory Muench (Laurene); his stepchildren, Sandra Ruskoski (Eric), Linda Carlson and Frederick Mensch (Betsy); his daughters-in-law, Patricia Muench and Kathy Sorci (Rick); his grandchildren, Kristy Pittas, Kevin Muench, Jennifer Dipple, Meggan True, Molly DiCanio, Melissa Krakowski, Kyle Muench, Daniel Knecht, Stephanie Carlson, Thor Ruskoski, Maximillian Muench, Chelsea Keen, Kim Carlson, Alexis Muench, Tyler Muench, Dakota Muench, Molly Mensch and Nicholas Mensch; and his brother Bruce Muench (Mary Louise). He is also survived by his 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
