It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Claud Maier of Arrowsmith, Illinois, born in Normal, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2022, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Claud, Freda Owens, Lloyd and Mona Walston; and his aunts and uncles, Gaila Northman, Donna Cueva, Gary Owens and Darwin Owens.
He is survived by: his parents, Dennis "Denny" A. Maier of Decatur and Mavis J. Owens Maier of Riddle, OR; his significant other Marni Wooldridge; his sister Tracey Maxwell of Wisconsin; his uncles, Larry Owens (Carole) of Oregon, Jon Maier (Marge) of Arkansas and Patrick Riley (Kim) of Florida; and his aunt Karen Maier of Decatur. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
