He was predeceased by: his wife Judy R. Hays; his parents, Verl Hays and Marjorie Hays; and his sister Sharon Clark. He is survived by: his children, Lauri Hays, Michelle Hays Glosser of Rochelle and Randy Hays of Oregon; and his grandchildren, Kali Smith, Garrett Glosser and Ethan Hays.
