He was predeceased by : his son Lewis Sarver; and his siblings, Carol Lee Clutter, Geraldine Kirk and Randy Sarver. He is survived by : his sister Nancy Chapman (Terry) of Oakley, Illinois; his daughter Vickie Schultz (Charles) of Watson, Illinois; and his grandsons, Derrick Sarver of Mattoon, Illinois, Jordan Schultz of Watson and Samuel Schultz of Watson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
