He was predeceased by: his son Eric Stephan Johannsen; his parents, Walter and Rena; and his brother Wayne B. Johannsen (Marie). He is survived by: his wife Doris J.; his daughters, Linda Karin Darr (Kenneth) and Kristine Elizabeth Schneider (Don); his daughter-in-law Kathy Jo Johannsen; his grandchildren, Kimberley Cook (Loren), Amy Koudelka (Christopher), Kristopher Darr (Kristen), Julie Irby (Dave), Kevin Darr (Jen), Kyle Darr, Lindsay Craig (Gary) and Elise Hassall; his great grandchildren, Sydney, Shelby, Sarah Cook, Kenzie, Cooper Koudelka, Ean, Emmie Darr, Paige Irby, Patrick Donohue, Kevin, Harrison, Lucas Darr, Rae Ellen, Dean, Walter Craig and Ayva Morrill; and his niece Barbara Kendell.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, the Alzheimer's Association, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
