She was predeceased by: her parents, George Oltmann and Shelby Oltmann (Hale). She is survived by: her husband John Petersen; and her siblings, Debbie Mitchell (Hale), Nancy Ludewig (Hale), Michelle Galor (Oltmann) and Deryl Bradley Hale. She is also survived by 5 nieces, 3 nephews.
