It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Hardy of Barrington, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Edward K. Hardy III; and her parents, Richard Simmons and Dorothy Simmons. She is survived by : her children, Richard Hardy (Melissa) and Carolyn Selke (Daniel); her grandchildren, Brian, Eric Selke, Paige and Kathryn Hardy; and her sister Dorothy Ehrhard (Lou). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
