She was predeceased by: her parents, Leota Mae Hendry and William Ernest McEvoy; and her spouse Verice E. Childress. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Larke (Tod) of Bloomington, Richard Childress (Kil) of Bartonville, Christine Childress of Bartonville and Thomas Childress of Bartonville; and her granddaughters, Denise, Brianne, Molly, Caroline, Echo and Tegan. She is also survived by three great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
