He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis M. Scott and Gussie Lee Scott (Frye); and his siblings, Alice Miller, Paul Russell, Harold, Clyde and Homer (Gene Scott).

He is survived by: his spouse Wanda C. Bull; his sons, Timothy Scott (Peggy) of Chatham and Keith Scott of Bath; and his sister Eva Taylor of Chillicothe, MO. He is also survived by two grandsons, two great granddaughters.
