We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2019, at the age of 77, Jerauld D. Smith Sr. (Bath, Illinois), born in Easton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillard Smith and Ruth Smith (Hatfield); his siblings, Kay Krey, Juanita Oest, Denzel Clark, Otis Smith, Harold Smith, Howard Clark and Violet Chasteen; and his grandson Jacob Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Christina Pilan (Sean) of Maryland, Tina Thomas of Havana, Jerauld Smith (Kathy) of Del Rio and Kathy Smith of Bath; his siblings, Joyce Mackie (Eddie) of Big Rock, Darlene McClure (Terry) of Lincoln, Eldon Smith (Barb) of Georgia, Loren Smith of Mason City and Fran Junker of Peoria; and his cousin Larry Hatfield. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made in Jerauld's name to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
