He was predeceased by : his parents, Hartford Seward and Fanny Alberta Hagerty Seward; his wife Marilyn C. Lebkuecher; his siblings, Sharon Lea Daniel, Jeanine "Cork" Phelps, Jimmie "Pooch" Seward and Larry Seward; and his niece Ann Daniel Lawson.

He is survived by : his sons, Eric Seward (Angie Esela) of Beardstown and Craig Seward (Mandy) of Beardstown; his grandchildren, Stephanie Reithmeier (Sven) of Colorado Springs, CO, Clayton of Beardstown, Cameron of Beardstown and Austin Seward of Beardstown; his sister-in-law Joyce Potts of Rushville; his nieces and nephews, Theresa Hager, Tom Seward, Sambo Seward, Jan Webster, Jane Johnson, Steve Daniel, Hart Seward and Gabe Seward; and his father-in-law Gilbert Lebkuecher.
